Job description
- Lead the development and maintenance of Linux kernel Ethernet drivers supporting 1G and 10G interfaces.
- Implement full ethtool support including statistics, diagnostics, and hardware offload features.
- Design and optimize link management features such as auto-negotiation, PHY configuration, and fault detection.
- Develop PCIe device driver components including probe/remove routines, interrupt handling, and resource initialization.
- Conduct performance benchmarking and ensure compliance with IEEE 802.3 standards and Linux kernel coding guidelines.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in driver development, particularly for Linux kernel environments.
- Strong proficiency in C programming for Linux kernel development.
- Deep understanding of Linux networking internals, including netdev, NAPI, sk_buff, and ethtool ops.
- Experience with 1G/10G Ethernet MAC/PHY interfaces and PCIe fundamentals, including DMA engines and descriptor rings.
