Job description

We are seeking experienced Epic Cadence & Prelude Analysts to support patient access, scheduling, and registration workflows within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have strong Epic build experience, workflow analysis skills, and hands-on knowledge of scheduling and registration processes., * Configure, build, maintain, and support Epic Cadence and Epic Prelude modules

  • Support scheduling, patient registration, referrals, provider templates, and visit workflows
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and revenue cycle teams to gather requirements
  • Perform workflow analysis, system configuration, testing, validation, and documentation
  • Support upgrades, optimization projects, and new implementations
  • Troubleshoot production issues and resolve tickets
  • Participate in integrated testing, go-live, and post-production support
  • Maintain provider records, departments, visit types, and scheduling templates
  • Work with cross-functional Epic teams for integrated workflows
  • Document build decisions, configurations, and change management processes

Requirements

  • Epic Cadence Certification (Required)
  • Epic Prelude Certification (Preferred/Required depending on client)
  • 3 5+ years of Epic Cadence/Prelude analyst experience
  • Strong understanding of patient scheduling and registration workflows
  • Experience with Epic build, optimization, and support
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations and patient access workflows
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Experience with testing lifecycle (unit, integrated, UAT)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Enterprise Scheduling
  • Knowledge of Grand Central / Patient Access workflows
  • Multiple Epic implementations or upgrade experience
  • Experience in ambulatory or hospital scheduling environments
  • Familiarity with work queues, decision trees, referrals, and RTE
  • Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills
