Job description
This position is responsible for analyzing and defining retail systems, processes and user needs., * Perform and/or coordinate configuration changes for applications in the area of responsibility.
- Define, analyze, and evaluate existing business functions and processes and makes recommendations to management on opportunities for process improvements.
- Meet with business partners, project managers, and vendor partners to determine project scope and vision, set system goals, identify and resolve system issues, and lead prioritization of build items.
- Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications to stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
- Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow; document risks and identify mitigation strategies.
- Participate in the execution of test cases as part of the Quality Assurance process.
- Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team. This includes creating process modes, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to the team.
- Review system design plans for reasonableness and fit with the business requirements.
- Provide orientation to end users for modifications to existing processes and new functionality.
- Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.
Requirements
Do you have experience in IT department experience?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Experience: 3-5 years' experience in Information Technology. Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field from an accredited college or university. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
- Strong functional knowledge of software products used to support retail store operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite., * Kneeling/Stooping/Bending
