Job description
As a Manager, Data and Insights on the Workforce Data & Analytics team, you will be responsible for helping clients advance their data and people analytics capabilities across strategy, people, process, data, and technology to deliver business-driven insights across work, workforce, and workplace topics.
- Lead client engagements focused on people data and analytics strategy, operating model design, roadmap development, and analytics-enabled decision support
- Define business questions, translate stakeholder needs into data and analytics requirements, and guide teams in developing insights, dashboards, predictive models, and recommendations
- Oversee the design and delivery of data pipelines, data products, visualizations, and analytics solutions across Human Capital Management, people analytics, and enterprise business intelligence platforms
- Manage project delivery, quality, risk mitigation, and executive stakeholder relationships while ensuring compliance with data privacy requirements and internal policies
- Mentor and develop team members, support resource deployment, and contribute to business development activities including proposals, presentations, and sales pursuits

- 6+ years of experience in management consulting or in a consultative analytics role
- 5+ years of experience managing teams of 15+ professionals
- 5+ years of experience executing data engineering and data analysis using Structured Query Language, R, and Python
- 5+ years of experience with data warehouses and data lakes, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, or Snowflake
- 5+ years of experience developing reporting and dashboards in business intelligence tools or people analytics platforms, including Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Visier, or OneModel
- Ability to travel 25-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience leading at least two initiatives in which artificial intelligence or machine learning methods were designed or implemented to address people analytics or workforce challenges
- Experience facilitating at least three meetings, presentations, or workshops with cross-functional or global teams on complex topics
- Experience managing at least two data- or technology-driven projects through the full project lifecycle, including budgets, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience presenting insights from technical projects to Human Resources or executive stakeholders and informing a business action, strategy, or policy decision at least twice
- Experience applying analytics and data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI, across at least three projects to support decision-making
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $141,200 to $278,300.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
