Job description
The Director of Information Technology provides strategic and operational leadership for all technology systems and services across the organization. This position is responsible for the planning, implementation, support, security, governance, and ongoing management of the organization's information technology infrastructure, cybersecurity program, telecommunications systems, cloud-based services, and clinical technology systems. The Director partners with organizational leadership to align technology initiatives with operational, clinical, resident, and business objectives while ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient technology services across the community. Responsibilities include infrastructure management, cybersecurity and compliance oversight, IT governance, vendor management, budgeting, disaster recovery planning, reporting and analytics support, systems integration oversight, project leadership, and supervision of Information Technology staff and service providers. This position serves as a key advisor to leadership regarding technology strategy, operational risk, security posture, governance standards, and future technology investments.
Requirements
*Customer services skills * o Must come from a healthcare background (Ideally a CCRC background (retirement community)) o Microsoft suite - Office 365, azure o Fortinet, firewalls, dell, switches, juniper o Network engineer type of skillset o Hands on networking skills o Cybersecurity -HIPPA compliance, annual risk assessments, office 365, azure, firewall, switches, juniper, cybersecurity Top Skills Details office 365,azure,firewall,switches,juniper,cybersecurity Additional Skills & Qualifications *Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered. *Minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible Information Technology experience, including leadership or management responsibilities. *Experience managing network infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity operations, and enterprise technology environments. *Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and hybrid/cloud-based technology environments. *Experience with vendor management, budgeting, project management, and strategic technology planning. *Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, disaster recovery, business continuity, and regulatory compliance requirements. *Healthcare, senior living, or other regulated industry experience preferred. *Strong written, verbal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. *Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing organizational needs. *Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. *Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. *Availability for occasional evening, weekend, and on-call support as operationally necessary.
