Advanced Energy is looking for a Sr Test Engineer to join our team in Milpitas, CA., * Develop test automation software, and scripts for High Power DC Supplies using LabVIEW and NI TestStand.
- Prepare verification procedures for ATE & test automation software and carry out the verification tests.
- Documents and releases procedures, test plans, Block and Schematic Diagrams.
Requirements
- Experience using LabVIEW and TestStand for test automation.
- Communicates effectively, both written and orally.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve automation hardware and automation software.
- Must be able to complete assignments independently and in a team environment.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work well under schedule pressures and balance priorities.
- Individual must be a team player in helping to complete overall team goals.
- Individual must be receptive to change and able to give and receive feedback.
- Work with development and other cross-functional teams to ensure effective and timely software system integration and verification.
- Collaborate with Project Management and technical resources to ensure that the strategy, planning and delivery approach achieves the desired results.
- Experience with a variety of General-Purpose Test Equipment use and automation. Including: Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, DAQs, and Switches.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years' experience of automation and software development for test automation.
- 3 years' with a masters degree
- Experience with as C#, Matlab, Python.
- Experience with Solid Works.
- Experience with Schematic Capture.
- Experience with SQL Server and My SQL Server data capture, * Bachelors or Masters in Engineering or equivalent.

Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
