Software Engineer - Technical Implementation

We are seeking an autonomous, execution-oriented Software Engineer - Technical Implementation to own full-lifecycle feature delivery and complex system integrations for our enterprise platform. This position is designed for an engineer who wants to sit at the critical intersection of core platform capabilities and production-level system delivery., Technical Feature Delivery & Ownership

• End-to-End Delivery: Independently drive features from initial concept to live production deployment with minimal guidance. Take proactive ownership of assigned product modules, ensuring rigorous follow-through.
• Core Execution: Write clean, high-quality, and high-performance code and backend logic, primarily leveraging Python to support workflow automation, custom enterprise requirements, and data transformations.
• Cross-Stack Adaptability: Demonstrate agile development capabilities. Rapidly pivot and adapt to frontend and backend services utilizing React, Node.js, and Java as platform and project requirements evolve.
• Engineering Rigor: Maintain strict engineering standards. Write clean, well-tested, and easily maintainable code while continuously improving system observability and development efficiency.

Architecture & System Integration

• API & Data Modeling: Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs, webhooks, robust enterprise integration workflows (REST/SOAP), and structured data models.
• System Connectivity: Map and execute secure, high-volume data pipelines and system-to-system integrations connecting hireEZ's Agentic AI platform to external enterprise infrastructure (such as ATS, CRM, IDP/SSO).
• Technical Synthesis: Deeply understand product and business logic to transform highly complex user requirements into concrete, impactful technical solutions.

Collaboration & Culture

• Active participation in team code reviews, system design workshops, and production environment troubleshooting to continuously elevate our overall engineering culture.
• Collaborate fluidly across functional lines to align engineering outputs directly with user value and business outcomes.

• Core Language Expertise: Strong programming fundamentals with hands-on proficiency in Python.
• Backend & Data Architecture: Solid experience building and maintaining robust APIs, along with proficiency in both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Thriving in Ambiguity: Proven ability to navigate undefined or shifting requirements, providing clear technical judgment, direction, and structured solutions.
• Product-Driven Mindset: An engineering philosophy that equally weighs technical elegance with real-world user value and product usability.

Highly Desired Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience or strong familiarity with React, Node.js, or Java.
• Familiarity with modern cloud environments, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Prior experience architecting or managing integrations within enterprise SaaS platforms or HR Tech ecosystems (Applicant Tracking Systems).
• Global Collaboration: Fluent verbal and written English communication skills, with the capability to clearly articulate technical tradeoffs and align goals across global engineering and product teams.

• Range: $120,000 to $130,000 OTE ($100,000 to $110,000 base salary)
• Final compensation is determined by the technical capabilities, architecture depth, and engineering impact demonstrated during the interview process.
