Job description
- Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates computer programs for internal functional areas including finance, human resources, marketing, etc.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams comprising of business SMEs, Architects, Developers and SIs on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current systems.
- Identify, recommend and implement complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentation.
- Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs.
- Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers. Assess and Propose capabilities and trade off with business and SI's to promote adoption of standard best practices.
- Performs all programming assignments without close supervision; systems design elements receive closer supervision.
- Demonstrates Boeing Behaviors in a deliberate and observable way. Flexibility to work with overlapping time zones APAC, Europe and US teams
- Develops conversion and system implementation plans.
- Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation.
- Recommendations for changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Warehousing technology implementation?, Do you have a Trade school?, * 5 or more years related work experience
- 3 or more years' experience with Test Planning/ scripting & conducting Interface's integration testing (with one system being the Manhattan Warehouse Management Open System, WMOS).
- Knowledge of Manhattan WMOS application and WMOS troubleshooting experience
- At least one year end to end Manhattan WMS implementation experience
- Ability to act as a liaison between functional and technical teams is a must
- 2 or more years providing support on-site to increase value being provided to the client and manage tasks and deadlines with minimal guidance
- Understanding of full systems development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation of various functional architecture solutions
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- At least 10+ years of total IT experience with any advanced science degree or technical education
- At least 10+ years of experience with minimum of three (3+) years of experience implementing or supporting Manhattan Associates WMOS product (preferred)
- Experience in setting up integration with ERP, TMS, OMS, LMS etc using MIF/ any other middle wear is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience using SQL as a troubleshooting and reporting aid
- Understand a company's functional, technical and process needs to create supporting documentation and solution requirements
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Configure supply chain software system to achieve business needs
