Artificial Intelligence Certified Quality Auditor Critical Illness Insurance Construction Documentation, This role focuses on providing Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services for landfill and landfill gas projects in the southeastern states. The CQA Technician conducts daily inspections, oversees construction activities, and ensures all work complies with design plans, drawings, and technical specifications. This position offers extensive field exposure, opportunities for overtime, and an environment of collaboration and development., * Conduct daily site inspections at landfills and construction sites to verify compliance with project requirements.
- Provide oversight and inspection engineering management of landfill gas systems and landfill construction, including cell development and closure activities, to ensure adherence to design plans.
- Perform construction quality assurance (CQA) activities to confirm that work complies with drawings, technical specifications, and project standards.
- Support landfill gas or remedial system maintenance and monitoring, ensuring systems operate safely and effectively.
- Coordinate daily with general contractors and subcontractors to align field activities, resolve issues, and maintain project schedules.
- Prepare and submit daily written and photographic field log reports using standardized templates.
- Compile and prepare construction documentation reports as requested, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in training engineering technicians, associate staff, and staff professionals in field procedures and CQA practices.
- Support office operations when requested, including documentation, data entry, and coordination tasks.
- Perform soil sampling and other field testing as needed to support quality control and quality assurance efforts.
- Participate in onboarding and safety training, including initial office-based training and field shadowing with a senior CQA technician.
- Travel to regional project sites, remain on assigned projects for multi-week rotations, and adapt to changing site conditions and schedules.
- Maintain and operate assigned company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

- 1+ years of experience with geosynthetics inspections is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDF software, including the use of fillable Excel templates for daily field logs.
- Ability to read and interpret maps, construction plans, and technical drawings.
- Experience with soil sampling, quality assurance, quality control, report writing, and inspection activities.
- Knowledge of geosynthetics and soils, with practical field application preferred.
- Strong oral presentation skills and clear written communication abilities for preparing reports and interacting with project teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a self-starter, managing tasks independently in the field.
- Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing., * Soils or concrete certifications are highly desirable but not required.
- Experience with landfill gas systems, soil testing, remedial systems, or related environmental field is a plus.
- Comfort working extensively in the field with significant travel and overnight stays.

Benefits & conditions
This role is primarily field-based and involves a significant amount of travel with daily per diem provided for every day being out of town (including non-working days). The typical rotation includes 5-7 weeks on the road, working 6 days per week, followed by approximately one week off. Projects are primarily regional travel to sites in Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida. The first week include 2-3 days in an office environment for onboarding and safety training, prior to heading out to a project site to shadow a senior technician.
Work is performed at active landfills and construction sites, often under varying and sometimes challenging weather conditions. The position involves regular driving of a pick-up truck, use of company vehicles with a fuel card. Overnight stays are common, and technicians typically stay in comfortable extended-stay style hotels arranged by the employer, or can be booked by employee.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
