Job description
- Lead on-site execution of requirements-based testing, robustness and ad-hoc testing in a lab environment (schedule flexibility is necessary during formal test phases).
- Perform Platform Systems Engineering (PSE) activities for the CH-53K Israel program.
- Be responsible for the overall testing for the CH-53K Israel customer of different Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) updates.
- Formulating requirements/test procedures, preparing and coordinating test events. You will be preparing test schedules, test statuses and the test environment. Tools used are TLDB, DOORS, JIRA, PREP, Microsoft, SVN and others.
- Have the responsibility to maintain, support, investigate the Collins Aerospace lab hardware and environment; including integration and investigation of the interfaces for Collin Aerospace equipment and government furnished equipment in the lab.
- Design system solutions, ensuring the integration of Collins Aerospace products into complex upgrade programs.
- Navigate through the bids & pursuits, adhering to Collins Processes.
- 10% travel as needed.

Requirements
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Experience in a Test Lead role.
Qualifications We Prefer:

Ability to obtain a US Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance.

Collins Aerospace's Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) experience. Avionics test lead experience.

Experience (military or civil aircraft) in avionics systems, specifically testing and troubleshooting.

Working knowledge / understanding of data busses and protocols (Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553B, and ARINC-429).

Experience with TLDB, DOORS, PREP, JIRA and Microsoft Office Suite is desired.

Strong organizational skills including associated documentation.

Communicate with a wide variety of technical and management personnel as well the customer, normally active-duty military and associated contractors.

Research test requirements and prepare test plans and procedures.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
