Secret Cloud App Deployment & Migration Specialist Lvl 5

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Lvl 4 Cloud Application Deployment & Migration Specialist to support the migration, deployment, integration, and ongoing sustainment of enterprise applications in Microsoft Azure. This is a first shift, onsite position based in Berkeley, Missouri; Seattle, Washington; or Daytona Beach, Florida. This role requires an active U.S. Secret Clearance (active within the past 24 months) and the ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP).

This individual will play a key role in transitioning applications from on-premises environments into the cloud while also supporting new application deployments and ensuring operational stability of cloud-hosted services.

This role will work cross-functionally with infrastructure, platform, database, vendor, and business teams to assess application readiness, coordinate environment requirements, execute migrations, and support production operations. The applications supported are primarily commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), open-source (OSS), and enterprise toolchain platforms.

Active U.S. Secret Clearance (active within the past 24 months); must pass DISC verification prior to submission

Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)

14+ years of experience OR 18 years of experience if no Degree

4+ years of experience in computing administration, including Active Directory design and support

3+ years of experience deploying, administering, migrating, or operating enterprise applications in Microsoft Azure (strong AWS fundamentals acceptable)

3+ years supporting COTS and/or commercial software applications

Experience working with enterprise security technologies such as encryption, certificates, MFA/2FA, and SSO

Proficiency in scripting languages - PowerShell required; Python and/or Bash strongly preferred

Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts and containerized application deployment (Docker alone is not sufficient)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar) Experience with Helm charts and container lifecycle management

Experience with enterprise platforms such as Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Artifactory, or SonarQube

Experience supporting database migrations and data cutovers

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates or Bicep preferred)

Experience working with vendor-led application deployments

Azure or AWS certifications (Azure Administrator, Solutions Architect, etc.)

Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
