Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Support modernization efforts migrating systems from legacy environments to cloud platforms.
- Build and maintain data processing pipelines for high-volume transaction systems.
- Work with SQL databases to manage data ingestion, transformation, and outbound processing.
- Develop and integrate messaging solutions using technologies such as Kafka or JMS.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to deliver application enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices for quality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in large-scale environments.
- Contribute to the consolidation of legacy applications into modernized platforms.
- Support CI/CD and cloud-native development practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
Requirements
Experience: A minimum of 6+ years of Java development experience, including demonstrated expertise with Spring Boot. Candidates should also have 3+ years of cloud experience with platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and strong experience with relational databases and backend system development., * Experience with Kafka, JMS, or other messaging frameworks.
- Experience with Kubernetes or containerization.
- A background in mainframe modernization or legacy system migration.
- Experience in high-volume processing systems.
- Ability to pass a technical screening assessment.
