Job description

Insight Global is looking to hire a TS/SCI Cleared Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer to support a defense manufacturing partner in the Baltimore, MD area. This individual will be joining a team that is tasked with production of a space-related payload. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:

Conduct performance requirement reviews to ensure what milestones and test need to be conducted to meet deliverables.

Assess team growth as needed to meet deliverables.

Lead cross-functional assembly, integration, and testing efforts to enable rapid system development and deployment.

Develop and maintain System I&T documentation, including test plans, schedules, and compatibility strategies.

Coordinate resources, schedules, and processes across engineering and production teams to ensure efficient assembly and testing execution.

Monitor performance, resolve integration issues, report status to stakeholders, and mentor team members to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

Bachelor's in STEM + 8 YOE; or MS + 6 YOE; or PhD + 4

Prior experience performing integration and test on subsystems, payloads, or relevant space vehicles

Ability to lead technical teams of skilled Engineers and Technicians

Develop I&T flows & schedules, determine tests needed to validate performance requirements, determine required resources (test equipment, facilities, personnel), plan for test safety, etc

Conduct performance requirements reviews and utilize MBSE tools such as CAMEO, Rhapsody, or DOORS

Benefits & conditions

$60/hr to $90/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
