Job description
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize scalable databases across a variety of data domains (KPIs, manufacturing, project / program management, Safety / Quality, risk management, & business operations)
- Problem solve for structured and unstructured complex data problems to support a team of data analysts and data scientists
- Define and implement data ingestion strategies (batch, streaming), transformation patterns (ELT/ETL), and orchestration for a multitude of disparate data sources
- Complete data modeling for acquisition and database implementation collaborating with different stakeholders
- Lead activities to develop and maintain complex infrastructure systems (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes) including data access Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
- Guide other data and analytics professionals on data standards and practices
- Create a culture of sharing, reuse, design for scale stability, and operational efficiency of data and analytics solutions
- Leverage automation extensively for scalability, repeatability, and reuse
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles
- 5+ years of experience building platforms and data products
- 5+ years of experience working with data and data warehousing business solutions
- 5+ years of experience with data pipeline tools and Extract Transform Load (ETL) services
- 3+ years of experience with cloud-platform technologies (AWS preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with the configuration of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for data ingestion (FastAPI preferred)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD practices, methodologies and tooling

Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and GIT

Experience with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry)/Tanzu and Amazon Web Services

Experience with Python, JavaScript, & multiple SQL languages, Not Applicable, This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. Summary Pay Range: (Seattle, Auburn, Everett) $184,450 - $217,000
Summary Pay Range: (San Antonio, Jacksonville) $172,550 - $203,000
