Job description
- Translate requirements into software designs and deliver clean, efficient, extensible, and maintainable code.
- Architect, develop, and deploy highly scalable, resilient, and performant distributed systems and full-stack applications.
- Boost team productivity by identifying and advocating opportunities for process and tooling improvements.
- Anticipate areas of frequent change, and design with flexibility to improve long-term engineering velocity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver innovative solutions aligned with development goals and principles.
- Apply evidence-centered design to ensure features are testable, high-quality, and continuously deliverable.
- Provide technical leadership: code reviews, ADR (Architecture Decision Record) feedback, mentoring, and coaching across teams.
- Identify gaps and systemic issues, propose solutions, shape the engineering roadmap, and drive resolution.
- Lead engineering support, release management, and on-call responsibilities for an always-on 24/7 site.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tooling?, * 4+ years of software development experience with strong computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
- Strong experience building full stack applications, including frontend development, backend services, and API integrations.
- Deep expertise in Java (Spring / Spring Boot) and/or Python, with experience building scalable APIs using REST and GraphQL.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, Marko, and modern web development frameworks.
- Experience designing and integrating distributed systems, services, and data flows in a high-scale environment.
- Solid understanding of databases and data access patterns, including Oracle, NoSQL, and GraphQL-based systems.
- Familiarity with Agile development, CI/CD pipelines, Git, testing strategies, and modern engineering best practices.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as coding assistants, test generation, and code review aids to accelerate delivery while maintaining high code quality.
Benefits & conditions
$98,000 - $173,600
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
