Job description

35 Hours/week M-F 8am-4pm Contract Duration: at least 2 years Reporting Mode: Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote per week

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and technically skilled Data & Program Analyst to support clean energy and clean transportation initiatives. This role combines data analytics, reporting, program administration, and customer support responsibilities to help manage and improve rebate and incentive programs.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working with large datasets while also engaging with program participants and stakeholders. This position plays a key role in supporting program operations through dashboard development, application review, reporting, auditing, and data-driven decision-making.

The Data & Program Analyst will support a portfolio of initiatives related to transportation electrification, energy efficiency, and thermal energy programs., * Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reporting tools using Tableau, Excel, and other data visualization platforms.

  • Analyze key program performance metrics (KPIs) and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Monitor program expenditures, funding allocations, and incentive utilization trends.
  • Track participation and demographic data across multiple programs.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, narratives, and briefing materials for leadership, external partners, and legislative reporting requirements.
  • Support data collection, validation, quality assurance, and reporting accuracy.
  • Organize, clean, and maintain datasets from internal and external data sources.

Technical & Systems Support

  • Serve as a resource across teams for data analysis, workflow improvements, reporting automation, and operational efficiencies.
  • Build and maintain advanced Excel models, spreadsheets, pivot tables, and reporting tools.
  • Create user-friendly dashboards and analytics solutions using Tableau and related visualization software.
  • Assist in automating recurring reporting and data management processes.
  • Support data tracking and compliance reporting for state- and federally funded programs.
  • Identify and troubleshoot data inconsistencies while recommending process improvements.

Program Operations & Rebate Administration

  • Review and process rebate and incentive applications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Communicate with applicants regarding approvals, denials, missing documentation, and program-related inquiries.
  • Provide responsive and professional customer support to program participants.
  • Conduct audits and compliance reviews of applications and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure consistency across databases and reporting systems.
  • Support implementation and administration of clean energy and clean transportation initiatives.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Participate in regular meetings with program implementers, vendors, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support reporting, budgeting, and program implementation activities.
  • Assist with presentations, outreach materials, and public-facing communications as needed.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Tableau?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Finance, Public Administration, Information Systems, or a related field required., * 2-5 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, program administration, or a related role.

  • Experience supporting rebate, grant, or incentive programs preferred.
  • Experience with customer service or applicant communications is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
  • Pivot tables and pivot charts
  • XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and nested formulas
  • Data validation and large dataset management
  • Dashboard and report creation
  • Experience with Tableau and other data visualization tools required.
  • Familiarity with reporting automation, workflow optimization, or data management systems preferred., * Strong analytical, auditing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience handling sensitive or high-volume data with accuracy and confidentiality.
