Job description
Insight Global is seeking a senior-level IAM Engineer / Architect to support a large financial services client. This individual will play a key role in designing, implementing, and enhancing identity and access management solutions, with a focus on PingIDM and related technologies.
This role will own the design and execution of identity lifecycle processes, provisioning strategies, and access control models across the enterprise, while partnering closely with security teams, architects, and application owners., Designing and implementing enterprise IAM solutions using PingIDM and related Ping platform components
Translating business and security requirements into identity lifecycle workflows, access models, and system architecture
Configuring identity lifecycle processes (Joiner/Mover/Leaver), provisioning connectors, and directory integrations (LDAP, Active Directory)
Integrating IAM solutions with enterprise systems including HR platforms, SaaS applications, and internal APIs
Enabling secure authentication and access flows including SSO, MFA, and federation protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OIDC)
Supporting application onboarding, data synchronization, and identity reconciliation logic across systems
Building and supporting automation around configuration, provisioning, and deployment using CI/CD pipelines
Acting as a technical SME, advising stakeholders on IAM architecture, optimization, and best practices
Requirements
Deep expertise with Ping Identity solutions, specifically PingIDM (required)
Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise IAM solutions
Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management (Joiner/Mover/Leaver) and provisioning models
Experience defining access control frameworks (RBAC/ABAC) and identity governance strategies
Hands-on experience integrating IAM solutions with Active Directory, LDAP, and enterprise applications
Strong experience working with APIs and scripting (Java, Groovy, JavaScript, or Python)
Familiarity with authentication and federation protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, SSO, MFA)
Experience managing multiple priorities in a complex enterprise environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across security, engineering, and business teams
Proven ability to operate as a technical lead or SME in IAM environments Experience with broader Ping suite (PingAM, PingDS, PingOne)
Experience integrating IAM with HR systems or large SaaS ecosystems
Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins)
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Performance tuning, capacity planning, or large-scale IAM deployments
ITIL or incident/problem management experience
