we are a Tier 1 vendor for the City and County of San Francisco for Cloud Services, Staffing Services and Training Services. For this multi-year opportunity with a diverse set of needs to address, we are currently focusing on establishing partnerships with individuals as well as companies who can help us enhance our overall service portfolio, cut lead times, and ultimately help us deliver successfully. We currently hold sizable Government accounts in the San Francisco bay area including City and County of San Francisco, San Mateo County, and Santa Clara County. Roles/Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data migration processes.
- Develop and optimize ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data between systems.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and validate data mappings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues, including performance tuning and error handling.
- Document technical specifications, migration plans, and post-migration validations.
- Develop, test, and maintain integration components using various programming languages and tools.
- Collaborate with software vendor, stakeholders, and business analysts to ensure smooth integration.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues and ensure system uptime.
- Document integration processes, tools, and technologies used.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Seven years of experience in database development or software development are required. Additional related work experience in software development may substitute for the required college education on a year-for-year basis
- 7+ years of experience, and proven track record of delivering complex IT software projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in collaborative environments.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset.
- Experience with Oracle PL/SQL or SQL Server development.
- Strong understanding of Data modeling and database architecture.
- Hands on experience using ETL tools and data integration platforms.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Desirable Skill:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
