Working Student - Threat Analysis

We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated, and relentlessly curious Working Student (M/F/D) to join the VMRay Labs team., * Analyze real-world malware samples and emerging threats

• Develop detection signatures, such as YARA rules, as well as malware configuration extractors
• Research the current threat landscape and relevant cybersecurity trends
• Support the team in developing and maintaining internal tools and services

• Enrolled student (M/F/D) in the field of IT Security or Cybersecurity or Computer Science
• Foundational knowledge of network security and malware analysis
• Basic programming skills in a high level language (e.g. Python, Java, etc.)
• Fast and proactive learner with a hands-on mindset
• Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in German and English
• High motivation and ability to work in a team
