The Squad Lead plays a lead role in the build and delivery of remarkable products. Requirements
Do you have experience in IaaS?, * Software engineering experience across the whole stack including a specialism in .net based solutions. Comfortable being hands-on with development teams, understanding what great code looks like and able to see the bigger picture, taking into account architecture and applying a DevOps mindset.
- Ideally you'll also possess in-depth expertise across the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, adopting cloud-native approaches like serverless and event-driven architectures, and managing diverse Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) workloads. Your approach is strongly guided by the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and the Well-Architected Framework (WAF).
- You are comfortable leading engagements from the front, whether embedded directly in a customer team or guiding AND engineering teams. You bring a bias for technical delivery and are ready to roll up your sleeves when it matters, helping teams succeed.
- Experience leading Engineering Teams - handling some of the tricky stuff as well as developing the talent within your team.
- A passion for supporting the growth and professional development of others through hands-on line management of a squad of ANDis from mixed disciplines.
- Advanced knowledge on agile delivery and how to apply it to transformation journeys at an organisational level with the ability to bring others on board.
- An understanding of working in a professional services set up and the dynamics of supplier-client relationships.
- An understanding of the need to be flexible - to tailor your approach depending on who you're working with, to see the opportunity when things aren't perfect, to enable teams to deliver remarkable work by wearing these different hats!
