Requirements
You could already be working as a Build Engineer, or maybe you're working in a related role (e.g. Developer, QA, IT, Operations) that has allowed you to spend a good portion of your time in this area and you want to get into it more. Either way, you've got experience of building a Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery pipeline using a mixture of off-the-shelf tools plus custom development of code or scripts.
You're a continuous learner, interested in technology and always looking for ways it can make things better or easier. If there's a new tool or technique out there you want to know about it and evaluate how it can contribute to what you're doing. You're "lazy-in-a-good-way" - you work hard, but you're too smart to keep doing a job you can make a computer do instead.
You're comfortable discussing requirements with multiple stakeholders, throwing your own ideas into the mix and constructively engaging to iterate on requirements and deliver the maximum value for the effort expended.
You're a good team player, comfortable working with others. You recognise everyone has their own priorities, so you work to help others do what they need and enlist their help with your deliverables. You almost always get done what you say you will, and if you don't you take the time to learn from the experience., Must have skills/experience:
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines
- Motivated by creating the tools to allow others to independently succeed
- Fast learner with desire to constantly improve
- Team player

- Infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Helm, etc)
