Were looking for an organised and proactive Security Administrator to join our Security team in Gillingham on a fixed-term contract. This role provides essential administrative and financial support, working closely with the Senior Security Administrator and the Head of Security to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, thrives in a busy environment, and wants to build valuable experience within a professional and supportive team.
What you will be doing
- Setting up and maintaining job files within Simpro
- Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Updating and maintaining project workbooks and job documentation
- Preparing and processing invoices for small works
- Supporting the purchase ledger, including recording and reconciling supplier invoices
- Producing and updating job sheets
- Managing returned goods and coordinating with suppliers
- Collecting and recording engineers timesheets for payroll and invoicing
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting any issues
- Logging new quote requests and supporting the wider administration process
Requirements
Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Previous experience in an administrative or finance-focused role, ideally within a busy office environment
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent written, verbal, and numerical communication skills
- A professional and friendly telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- A proactive and positive approach, with a willingness to learn
- The ability to work well as part of a team and independently when required
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above, or equivalent)
Experience in a technical, security, construction, or fire-related environment is an advantage, along with an interest in learning about legal and regulatory compliance within the industry.
