- Develop and maintain Java-based backend systems using Spring Boot and microservices.
- Leverage Devin (AI engineer tool) to automate coding, debugging, testing, and documentation tasks.
- Design and build RESTful APIs and scalable backend services.
- Integrate AI-assisted tools into the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Improve development efficiency using automation and AI-powered workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and Agile development processes.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
Requirements
We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with experience leveraging Devin (AI software engineering tool) to accelerate development, automate coding tasks, and enhance productivity. The ideal candidate should have strong Java backend expertise combined with hands-on experience in AI-assisted development workflows, automation, and modern engineering practices., * Strong experience in Java (8/11/17) and backend development.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Devin or similar tools like GitHub Copilot).
- Experience in automation, scripting, and improving development workflows.
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git/version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred, but not required:
- Experience integrating AI tools into development pipelines.
- Knowledge of Generative AI / LLM concepts.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes.
- Understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies.
Benefits & conditions
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Chandler, AZ is $100k - $110k/year & benefits (see below)., * A highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
