Job description
The Software Engineer, Platform role is critical for developing and maintaining the backend services that support key product functionalities such as payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech, and external integrations. This position focuses on building scalable, robust APIs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product goals, thus directly contributing to the enhancement of user experience and enterprise client solutions.
- Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain public and internal APIs including text-to-speech, payment, subscription, authentication, and consumption tracking

Manage and optimize the backend API infrastructure for performance and maintainability

Collaborate on business-to-business solutions with a focus on customization and integration for enterprise clients

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure backend architecture supports overall product strategy and user experience
Requirements

Proven backend development experience with TypeScript and Node.js

Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform and familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers

Ability to efficiently ideate and implement solutions, prioritizing based on urgency and impact

Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployment

Preferred: Experience deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes

- Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- The United States based salary range for this role is 140,000-200,000 USD per year plus bonus and stock options, depending on experience
