Job description
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
- Perform break/fix repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software applications.
- Respond to user support requests via ticketing system, email, or phone.
- Maintain inventory of hardware, software, and spare parts.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT support when required.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Proven experience in desktop support or break/fix role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking.
- Familiarity with hardware components and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Preferred:
- Experience with remote support tools.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional
