Job description
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes., The Associate, Digital, Data & Analytics supports Procurement teams by delivering data, reporting, and analytical insights that improve visibility into spend, supplier performance, and operational efficiency. This role works closely with procurement stakeholders and analytics partners to support dashboards, reports, and data quality efforts that enable informed decision-making.
This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in data, analytics, and digital enablement within a global procurement organization, offering exposure to procurement processes, digital tools, and analytics best practices.
Key Responsibilities

Support the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and data extracts for Procurement stakeholders.

Assist with data collection, validation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of procurement metrics.

Perform basic trend and variance analysis related to spend, suppliers, and procurement performance.

Support documentation of standard definitions, metrics, and reporting logic.

Partner with Procurement and Analytics teams to support self-service reporting and user enablement.

Assist with data preparation for sourcing, supplier reviews, and performance reporting.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to digital tools, analytics processes, and automation.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree required (Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field).

Advanced degree preferred.
Experience and Skills
Required:
-
0-2 years of relevant experience in analytics, reporting, data support, or a related field.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with structured data sets.

Basic understanding of data visualization or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based, matrixed environment.
Preferred:

Exposure to procurement, supply chain, or business operations data.

Familiarity with SQL, data platforms, or data modeling concepts.

Experience supporting dashboards, reports, or KPI tracking.

Interest in digital enablement, analytics automation, or AI-enabled insights.

Experience in regulated or global business environments.

Additional Description for Pay Transparency: Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
