Job description
Support and enhance FRIB IT systems (Linux automation, apps, and network services/configuration)
Maintain and improve office and controls network infrastructure to meet user needs
Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex system and user issues independently
Provide first-level support and escalate more complex problems when needed
Handle routine technical issues across multiple areas
Follow FRIB policies, standards, and best practices
Collaborate within an Agile Scrum team with developers and stakeholders
Manage moderately complex projects within FRIB frameworks
Requirements
Requirements - Proven experience working as a Network Administrator or in a similar infrastructure support role.
- Hands-on knowledge of firewall technologies, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience with Cisco routers and broader Cisco networking environments.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and its relationship to network access and administration.
- Working knowledge of LAN design, support, and performance optimization.
- Ability to identify technical issues quickly and implement effective network solutions.
