Job description
- Collaborate across various domains in the enterprise to determine the best solutions for HR and corporate system solution and integrate them into the Marriott ecosystem.
- Design, build, and implement architectures that are cost effective, highly scalable, resilient and flexible based on Marriott standard technology stack leveraging latest technology.
- Work with architects and engineer/delivery leads across the organization to extend and introduce new solution architecture across domains including but not limited to HR, Corporate Systems and Global Design.
- Lead and define HR and Corporate System architecture solutions to enable business objectives, drive stakeholder alignment and drive detail design.
- Lead and define the HR and Corporate systems architecture vision to deliver the next of corporate system and improve the associate's experience.
- Liaise with vendors and Service Providers to select the products or services to enable strategic goals.
- Contribute to technology assessment and lead the introduction of new technology is approved and document via Marriott processes.
- Define solutions and patterns that address HR and corporate systems integration following Marriott Standards.
- Leverage short-term tactical solutions to achieve long-term objectives and advance the overall Marriott vision.
- Facilitate data capacity planning, lifecycle, duration, usage requirements, feasibility studies for HR and Corporate systems.
- Identify and develop opportunities for reuse, migration, or retirement of application components within HR and Corporate Systems.
- Collaborate with product owners towards system roadmaps.
- Understand and evaluate current and emerging technology products and trends.
- Develop standard prototypes and architecture artifacts to support projects.
- Partner and consult with project teams to enable consistent solution design and implementations aligned to the architecture based on Marriott Standards.
- Engage in IT governance activities to promote consistency and solution compliance.
- Obtain training & experience on business functions and technologies outside area of expertise.
- Research emerging or existing technologies that may have specific business outcomes.
- Conduct proof-of-concepts to determine the feasibility of technologies that could provide business benefits.
- Act as a leader and advocate for architecture, including coaching, training, and career development to staff.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a closely related technical field followed by 10 years of progressively responsible experience in software engineering with a focus on HR and Corporate systems and integrations. Experience must include:
- 6 years of experience architecting, building and deploying solutions in Oracle HCM Cloud for HR and Corporate Systems.
- 6 years' experience with solution architecture, creating conceptual, logical architecture diagrams, and gaining stakeholder approval.
- 6 years collaborating across various teams in the Enterprise including but not limited to Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Compliance and Privacy.
- 3 years of integration experience of the key Oracle HCM Modules related to HR and Corporate Systems.
- 3 years' experience with API, microservices architectures and PLSQL, SQL and NoSQL technologies.
Telework: 100% Remote; position may be performed from anywhere within the U.S.

SALARY: $156,300-$200,700 per year
