Software Engineer

XAnalytix Systems is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to our growing portfolio of research and development efforts in various domains. We are looking specifically for a highly motivated individual capable of contributing their unique talents to our team. A successful candidate will be able to seamlessly switch between working autonomously and within a small team setting. At XAnalytix Systems, you are not just a number. • Provide software and integration support in a classified lab.
• Contribute to the direction and success of a small, talented team with your individual expertise.
• Identify, analyze, and decompose challenging problems and customer requirements and then develop innovative solutions to problems in domain areas such as: space situational awareness; SATCOM planning; decentralized mission planning and data-fusion.
• Engage with our customers, academic colleagues, and industry partners to ensure that we provide state of the art, mission relevant solutions to some of our nation's most challenging and constantly evolving national security concerns.

• A B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Hold an active clearance.
• Experience with Rust, Python, Java and/or C++.
• While this is a remote position there is a requirement for the candidate to be near specific labs. We would prefer the candidate be in San Diego, CA, but Washington D.C. is also acceptable.

Desired Qualifications

The following skills are highly desirable for this position, and will be heavily weighted when assessing prospective candidates:

• Experience working in Defense Industry.
• Experience working in the Aerospace domain.
• Experience working as a Full Stack engineer. Expectation is the work will be mostly backend, but with a need to debug frontend issues.
