Job description

Our healthcare insurance client is hiring an Android Developer. This is a 1 year renewing contract and is remote work from home., This role is to help support a large mobile initiative to create a super app! This is a UI redesign and refresh. We are looking for a Android Developer with very strong Kotlin experience.

Requirements

5+ years of experience developing Android Applications.

  • Proficient with Kotlin, and the Android SDK
  • Proficient with Git/Github
  • Familiarity & working knowledge with Jetpack Compose.
  • Knowledge of MVP and MVVM patterns
  • Extensive use of Kotlin, and the Android SDK
  • Understanding of core libraries, application framework, and Android architecture
  • Experience with multi-threaded programming with Kotlin coroutines
  • Experience building and shipping UI built with Jetpack Compose.
  • Experience with writing unit tests
  • Familiarity with Agile/SAFe software development principles
  • Knowledge of Android accessibility features
  • Working with designer/design team to implement UI
  • Knowledge of Circle CI or other CI/CD tools
