Job description
Insight Global is seeking an IT Project Coordinator to support a large-scale IT organization. This individual will play a critical role in driving project execution, improving intake processes, and enhancing how work flows through the PMO, with a strong emphasis on Jira administration and optimization.
This is a highly visible role supporting multiple programs, requiring someone who can operate confidently in ambiguity, contribute to discovery efforts, and help shape scalable project frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support project intake, discovery, and requirements gathering for new initiatives
Manage end-to-end project lifecycle support (intake ? build ? testing ? delivery)
Administer and optimize Jira environments, including:
Kanban boards
Workflows
Project spaces and configurations
Drive process improvements across PMO workflows and governance
Coordinate across multiple programs simultaneously and ensure alignment with stakeholders
Prepare materials and support leadership presentations (gradual exposure to presenting)
Facilitate stakeholder communication and approvals, including executive-level interactions
Requirements
Self-starter who is not afraid to ask questions and figure things out independently
Adaptable and comfortable working in evolving, non-static environments
Creative thinker who can suggest improvements and challenge existing processes
Confident, proactive, and comfortable operating in a high-visibility environment
Able to manage multiple priorities and programs simultaneously, 2+ years of experience in technical project coordination/management
Strong experience with Jira administration (boards, workflows, process optimization)
Experience leading requirements gathering sessions and project intake processes
Exposure to full project lifecycle (discovery through delivery)
Strong communication skills with ability to engage executive stakeholders
Proven ability to build, implement, or improve project processes/frameworks Agile / Scrum experience
Exposure to SAP programs or enterprise systems
Background in process optimization, governance, or PMO transformation initiatives
Benefits & conditions
This is a 6-month contract role operating on a hybrid schedule (4x onsite) in Broomfield, CO. The pay rate range is $30/hr - $35/hr.
