Job description

  • Convert and migrate legacy Mainframe SAS processes to Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
  • Analyze existing SAS workflows and redesign logic for Oracle-based execution.
  • Design, optimize, and validate Oracle data-processing solutions for accuracy, performance, and reliability.
  • Support creation and enhancement of a Java-based UI for process maintenance.
  • Develop Python utilities for automation, data processing, and migration tasks.
  • Use JIRA for task tracking and delivery management in Agile or hybrid settings.
  • Report progress, risks, and plans to the technology manager with minimal client interaction.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to a delivery-focused environment.

Requirements

We are seeking a Senior Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Mainframe SAS, Python, and Java UI integration and a proven ability to convert legacy mainframe SAS processes into optimized Oracle solutions and deliver reliable, on-time outcomes., * Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PLSQL development.

  • Hands-on experience with Mainframe SAS or similar mainframe data-processing tools.
  • Working proficiency in Python for automation and data handling.
  • Experience supporting or integrating with Java-based applications or UIs.
  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar workflow management tools.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and deliver on time.
  • Proven team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Track record of consistent, high-quality technical outcomes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Background with COBOL or other mainframe technologies.
