Data Architect - Data Modernization, Snowflake

CTG is seeking an experienced Data Architect - Data Modernization, Snowflake to lead enterprise-scale data transformation and modernization initiatives for our client. This role will focus on architecting and delivering scalable cloud-based migration solutions leveraging Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, and modern ETL technologies., + Lead data modernization and cloud transformation initiatives across enterprise environments.

• Design and implement scalable ETL and data migration solutions.

• Architect data pipelines and modernization strategies involving:

• Oracle to PostgreSQL

• Oracle to SQL Server

• Relational to NoSQL migrations

• Data Warehouse to Data Lake transformations

• Develop enterprise data models and architecture standards.

• Collaborate with technical teams, DBAs, developers, and business stakeholders.

• Data Architecture

• Data Modeling

• Project Management

• Strong SQL expertise

• Snowflake and Databricks hands-on experience

• AWS cloud understanding

• Enterprise ETL and data transformation experience

Preferred Technical Experience:

• Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Amazon RDS

• IBM InfoSphere DataStage

• Informatica PowerCenter

• Microsoft SSIS

• Oracle Data Integrator

• XML, JSON, NoSQL, Python

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture and modernization initiatives

• Proven experience leading enterprise data migration projects

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
