Job description
The Solution Architect is responsible for owning the overall design of the technical application as well as recommending best practice solutions based on client business needs., * Facilitates discovery workshops, in tandem with other team members, to gather customer requirements, understand customer personas and elicit user stories
- Assess client current architecture and architect solutions that meet client needs
- Create solution design and articulate design to client and team; articulate value and gain buy-off; ensure user story definition clarity and perform quality reviews
- Develop POCs and demos to articulate design concepts to client, including best practice recommendations; elicit feedback and adjust design to meet needs
- Provide technical guidance to the team and ensure standards are met or exceeded
- Assess and make recommendations on processes, designs, operations, and testing
- Understands the technical depth of the project and validates the correct resources for the project
- Recommend alternate approaches, analyze impacts, and provide sizing estimates
- Participates in design and code reviews
- Analyzes and mitigates bugs and issues
- Provides release planning, devops governance and deployment plans
- Conducts unit, integration, and performance testing and work closely with users for user acceptance testing
- Writes technical specifications (for custom development, system integration, etc.) jointly with the technical team members
- Documents build plans and delegates work to team members
Requirements
- 5+ years consultant experience within Salesforce projects leading external, client-facing technical consulting services for complex system implementations
- 3+ years developing custom Salesforce applications
- 3+ years of Salesforce experience complex third-party solutions
- Experience managing project team relevant to the delivery of the technical solution
- Experience in enterprise-level projects using Agile software development methodologies throughout the whole life cycle
- Experience with third party solutions that support vertical objectives
- Ability to lead technical requirements gathering & solution design sessions with clients
- Superior Salesforce development and design skills including Apex, Lightning, SOQL, Flow and other standard and advanced Salesforce automation tools
- Deep familiarity with Salesforce products including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
- Experience deploying web-based and enterprise systems using industry standard environments including REST, APIs, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML
- Understands testing and release processes
- Strong aptitude for prioritization and multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
Benefits & conditions
This is an FTE hybrid/onsite role - and is based in Austin, TX. Candidates must be local/willing to travel in office 4 days/week.
The salary range for this role is $165,000-$195,000k & benefits / bonus.
