Job description
The IT Project Manager will serve as the primary leadership authority for project execution, milestone delivery, and cybersecurity alignment. Core responsibilities include:

Lead the comprehensive planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and technical execution of enterprise IT and cyber modernization projects.

Analyze and manage project scope, risk registers, critical paths, and resource constraints to ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery.

Coordinate, track, and report on cybersecurity milestone achievements, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) phases and Authority to Operate (ATO) timelines.

Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) stakeholders, technical engineers, and senior leadership.

Manage cross-functional technical teams consisting of network architects, systems engineers, software developers, and information security analysts.

Develop, monitor, and refine project key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for technical deliverables.

Facilitate regular technical root cause analysis reviews, project status briefings, and corrective action planning sessions.

Proactively identify project delivery risks, schedule dependencies, and resource conflicts, designing targeted remediation workarounds.

Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, integrated master schedules, communications plans, and executive status reports.
Requirements
Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 12+ years of experience., + Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent federal project management certification.
