Job description
Seeking a hands-on Help Desk / Infrastructure Support Technician to support internal users, engineering teams, and mission-critical infrastructure environments. This role focuses on desktop support, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking troubleshooting, and infrastructure support within a highly technical enterprise hardware and data center environment., * Provide Tier 1 / Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, conference room systems, and internal applications
- Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 environments and basic Linux issues
- Support Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive
- Manage Active Directory accounts, permissions, and password resets
- Troubleshoot VPN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, wireless, and remote access issues
- Configure, image, deploy, and track end-user hardware
- Support engineering labs, OEM hardware environments, and infrastructure operations
- Assist with rack-and-stack activities, hardware swaps, diagnostics, and basic data center support
- Maintain accurate documentation and ticket updates within the help desk system
Requirements
- 2-5 years of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Infrastructure Support experience
- Strong Windows desktop troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently
- Must be able to work onsite in Plano, TX
Preferred Experience:
- Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless troubleshooting
- Basic Linux administration or troubleshooting
- Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, OEM, or data center environments
- Exposure to enterprise server hardware and infrastructure operations
- Experience with imaging tools, hardware diagnostics, and asset management systems
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or related certifications preferred
