Join a leading Missiles & Fire Control team in Orlando, FL, as an Embedded Software Engineer specializing in real-time systems. You will play a crucial role developing, testing, and integrating mission-critical embedded software using Ada, directly impacting advanced defense solutions. This position requires a driven professional with a passion for technology and national security who is eager to grow their expertise in a high-impact environment., Design, implement, and maintain embedded real-time software using Ada.
- Perform requirements analysis, code development, and formal qualification testing.
- Integrate software with hardware components, ensuring robust system functionality.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams across the full software development lifecycle.
- Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing embedded systems for performance and reliability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development and testing processes.
Requirements
Active SECRET security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in real-time embedded software development.
- 6+ years of hands-on Ada programming experience, including maintenance of embedded applications.
[Preferred Skills]
- Proficiency with Linux or VxWorks operating systems.
- Proven integration and test experience involving both software and hardware.
- Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams.
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of GoogleTest or similar unit testing tools.
