Job description
Our Java teams in the Warehouse Systems domain are the reason why our warehouses can process the volume of groceries they do! From dealing with inbound items, to sending totes across the warehouse on conveyor belts, to sending the groceries off to our delivery drivers - our software developers build tools and automations to power the entire warehouse platform. Through designing, developing, and testing new features, or improving the scalability and security of our platform: you'll be managing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, while finding yourself fully immersed in an engaging scaleup culture.
- Ownership: Take ownership of projects from concept to delivery, aligning technical solutions with business goals
- Problem solving: You see a problem, you tackle it with technology - with your users always in mind
- Collaboration: Collaborate on cross-team initiative involving complex systems to ensure smooth flows in our warehouses
- Impact: You will share your expertise on tech decisions within your domain and simplify complex flows with an eye on real-world consequences
- Our Tech: Java 21/25 (Spring 6 with Spring Boot 3.5, Reactor, Immutables, Maven), RabbitMQ, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Git, Docker, AWS, Helm, Terraform, Kubernetes, Vault, Datadog, Python 3.x, Typescript
Requirements
- You have a Master's Degree (in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related technical field) or equivalent experience
- You have a product mindset: you own and solve business problems through tech
- You have 5+ years of professional experience in programming and software development
- You have a profound understanding of back-end development, including Java, Spring, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ
- Your English skills are on point (no Dutch required)
- You're based in or happy to relocate to the Netherlands*
