Job description

A leading digital transformation and technology consultancy is seeking experienced SAP Solution Architects to join a growing enterprise applications practice. This role is focused on delivering large-scale SAP transformation programmes across complex and highly regulated environments.The successful candidate will play a key role across the full project lifecycle, from initial solution shaping and architecture design through to implementation, deployment, and live service support. You will work closely with clients, technical teams, and senior stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready SAP solutions aligned to business objectives and industry best practice. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end architecture and design of enterprise SAP solutions across large-scale programmesSupport early-stage engagement activities including discovery workshops, solution definition, estimations, and bid supportDesign SAP landscapes spanning functional, technical, integration, security, and data architecture componentsProvide architectural leadership across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and related SAP technologiesGuide clients on target operating models, deployment strategies, and SAP roadmap alignmentCommunicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersEnsure governance, design standards, and architecture controls are maintained throughout deliveryCollaborate with programme leadership, delivery teams, and third-party vendors to ensure successful outcomesManage dependencies across SAP and non-SAP platforms within enterprise environmentsIdentify and mitigate technical risks, issues, and delivery challengesContribute to internal architecture standards, capability development, and knowledge sharing initiatives

Requirements

SAP Solution Architect - Remote (UK)Salary: Up to £90,000 + performance bonusLocation: Remote-first with occasional UK travelSecurity Requirements: Applicants must be eligible for UK SC clearance and have a minimum of 5 years continuous UK residency., Required Experience & SkillsCandidates should demonstrate strong SAP architecture capability alongside proven experience delivering within large, enterprise-scale environments.Key experience includes:Designing and delivering complex SAP solutions within enterprise or regulated organisationsStrong expertise in SAP S/4HANA architecture, including greenfield, brownfield, and hybrid transformation programmesBroad understanding of SAP functional areas such as Finance, Utilities, Contract Accounting, or related domainsExperience with SAP technical architecture including environments, security, identity management, transport management, and non-functional designStrong integration knowledge covering APIs, middleware, SAP Integration Suite, and enterprise ecosystemsUnderstanding of SAP data migration, governance, quality management, and cutover planningExperience working across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid SAP environmentsFamiliarity with modern delivery methodologies including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and structured release managementAbility to lead cross-functional technical teams and manage architectural deliverablesExcellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and decision-making skillsComfortable operating in fast-paced delivery environments with evolving prioritiesStrong commercial awareness and experience supporting both fixed-price and time-and-materials engagements Desirable BackgroundExperience working on large transformation programmes within public sector or similarly complex organisationsAwareness or experience of SAP RISE and cloud transformation strategiesPrevious involvement in high-availability or critical incident environments
