Job Description We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong full-stack development experience, encompassing both frontend and backend engineering. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in TypeScript-based frontend applications and Java-based microservices built with Spring Boot. This role is integral to delivering end-to-end features, contributing to both user-facing products and core backend services. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineers, business analysts, testers, and Product Owners to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions. They will be expected to take full ownership of features across the technology stack, contribute to technical design discussions, and support the wider team in upholding exceptional, maintainability, performance, security, and usability. Supporting CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and continuous improvement initiatives, including reducing technical debt and enhancing engineering practices Who we're looking for: Strong experience delivering full-stack applications, with hands-on development across both TypeScript-based frontends and Java/Spring Boot backends Solid grasp of modern frontend architecture, including component-based design, state management, and performance optimisation Proven ability to build and consume RESTful microservices and integrate frontend applications with backend services Practical experience working with AWS services and an understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures Strong knowledge of testing practices across the stack, covering unit, integration, and end-to-end testing Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern Agile development workflows such as Scrum or Kanban Good understanding of clean code, The role involves delivering clean, maintainable features across TypeScript-based frontend applications and Java/Spring Boot backend services, including building and maintaining RESTful microservices.
