Job description
- Support development, provisioning, and checkout of Python/ROS2-based systems using COTS hardware
- Develop and update device drivers to ensure optimal system performance
- Implement provisioning process improvements through automation and scripting
- Conduct software checkout and troubleshooting on testbeds and hardware

Requirements
- Proficiency in Python (tools/automation); strong experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot both basic hardware (wiring, power) issues and software issues
- Proficiency with scripting and automation tools
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Bash (preferred)
- Hardware/software integration experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with EtherCAT and/or motor drivers (preferred)
- Experience with ROS/ROS2, instrumentation/control systems, driver/platform debugging, data acquisition/measurement theory, or debugging auto-generated code (preferred)
