Job description
- Prepare technical documentation, management reports, and technical presentations supporting planning, implementation, and corrective actions\n
- Perform system validation activities, including development of criteria and procedures, and analyze results of major engineering systems\n
- Provide systems engineering support across acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, deployment/fielding, installation, and operations oversight activities\n
- Provide engineering support to program and project risk management activities in compliance with Air Force Systems Engineering Assessment Model (SEAM) processes\n
- Conduct engineering trade studies and technical analyses involving system performance, effectiveness, cost, lifecycle cost, reliability, maintainability, risk, and schedule\n
- Support proposal evaluations, technical studies, audits, analyses, and engineering IPT activities to assess technical feasibility, compatibility, and cost effectiveness\n
- Review and analyze Air Force requirements and acquisition documentation including SRDs, ICDs, CDDs, CPDs, CONOPs, AoAs, Technology Development Strategies, FCAs, and PCAs\n
- Support implementation and maintenance of system requirements within DOORS and Launchpad applications across branch systems\n
- Support technical engineering reviews, meetings, and briefings with Government and Contractor personnel\n
- Review and analyze system concepts, requirements baselines, and software integration activities in collaboration with Government and prime contractor teams\n
- Apply advanced engineering theories, principles, concepts, standards, and methods to ensure work remains aligned with program objectives, schedules, costs, performance criteria, and existing policies\n
- Understanding of cloud-based systems, including management and projection of cost and performance, preferred\n
- Experience supporting Agile software development environments, including SAFe Agile, CI/CD, DevSecOps, DevOps, and Agile sprint planning methodologies, preferred\n
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills\n
Requirements

Conduct systems engineering and program reviews to evaluate alternative plans, technical baselines, design efforts, and system-level test results to ensure subsystem and system performance meets approved program specifications\n, Bachelor's Degree in a related professional engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited educational program and 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD\n \n \n

Experience reviewing Air Force system requirements documentation including SRDs, ICDs, CDDs, and CONOPs\n

Experience supporting technical engineering reviews, meetings, and briefings\n

Experience in engineering and technical resources with either USAF command or control reporting systems, tactical radar, shelter and radome systems, aircraft trainer pods, radios and communication systems, EW systems, or threat emitters depending on the specific branch needs\n, * Strong written and verbal communication skills\n
