Product Designer & Front-End Engineer

We are seeking a Product Designer & Front-End Engineer to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role is designed for a builder who is equally passionate about software product design and front-end engineering. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the user experience, from conducting research and creating high-fidelity interfaces to writing clean, maintainable code that brings those designs to life.

• Lead and present a design-first vision, balancing technical software engineering concepts with novel user experiences to improve the SDLC.
• Conduct user research and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and requirements.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Design intuitive, visually appealing, and responsive user interfaces for our AI-driven SaaS application.
• Front-End Engineering:
• Develop and implement the user interface using modern web technologies in React.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows industry best practices and standards.
• Optimize platform performance and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous data flows to connect the UI with AI-enabled backend services.
• Collaboration & Innovation:
• Work closely with product managers and backend engineers to define and implement UI/UX requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in generative AI, UX/UI design, and front-end technologies.
• Provide and receive constructive feedback during code and design reviews.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Experience: * 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer or Front-End Engineer, preferably in a SaaS or B2B environment.
• Proven experience building and designing large-scale enterprise or data-rich software engineering tools.
• Technical Skills:
• Design: Deep proficiency in Figma and a strong portfolio showcasing stunning SaaS applications.
• Development: Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Frameworks: Mastery of modern frameworks like React.js.
• Tools: Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• AI Knowledge: Familiarity with generative artificial intelligence and its application to automating software workflows is highly preferred.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This position is compensated with pre-seed equity only to start. As we are currently in the pre-seed phase, we do not have the capacity to offer a salary right away. However, we anticipate securing funding within the next 12 months, at which point we plan to introduce competitive salaries.
