Job description
Analyze existing procurement and inventory processes.
- Design optimized processes leveraging S/4HANA best practices (e.g., Fiori apps, embedded analytics).
- Configure MM components in S/4HANA: Procurement, Inventory Management, Valuation, Invoice Verification, etc.
- Utilize Fiori apps and SAP GUI for configuration and user experience enhancements.
- Implement SAP Activate methodology for project delivery.
- Perform Data migration using SAP Migration Cockpit or LTMC for data migration.
- Conduct requirement analyses and creates technical specifications; Configure and customize solutions according to the specific requirements of our clients.
- Create training materials, Plan and conduct training sessions for end-users and key users.
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and user manuals.
- Manage and cleanse Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing Info Records, etc.
- Collaborate with consultants from FI, SD, PP, and WM/EWM for seamless cross-functional integration.
- Ensure real-time data flow and consistency across modules.
- Develop and execute test scripts for unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
- Validate Fiori apps and backend processes.
- Train end-users on new S/4HANA functionalities and Fiori interfaces.
- Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption.
- Provide hyper care support and resolve issues post-implementation.
- Monitor system performance and suggest improvements.
- Stay updated with SAP S/4HANA innovations (e.g., AI/ML in procurement, predictive analytics).
- Recommend enhancements to leverage new features.
As SAP MM Ariba consultant you:
- Knowledge of procure-to-pay (P2P) and source-to-contract (S2C) processes.
- Conceptualized & Design Ariba solutions aligned with business goals (e.g., sourcing, contracts, procurement, supplier management).
- Configure and support modules like: Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contracts, Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Ariba Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP)
- Knowledge on Integrate Ariba with SAP ERP/S/4HANA or other backend systems using CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway) or middleware.
- Ensure seamless data flow for master data, purchase orders, invoices, etc.
- Prepare training materials and conduct workshops for end-users and procurement teams.
- Document configurations, processes, and user guides.
- Ensure procurement processes comply with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Recommend best practices for sourcing, contract management, and supplier collaboration.
Requirements
Bachelor or master's in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience as SAP MM Consultant, preferably in the plant and mechanical engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of procurement lifecycle and inventory management.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- High customer orientation and very strong communication skills.
- Ability to work both in a team and independently.
- Excellent and English language skills, written and spoken; German would be an advantage.
