Job description
As a working student in Global Sales Data Analytics, you will support the sales organization by working with data from different systems and turning it into meaningful insights. Your role will focus on preparing, analyzing, and structuring data so that Sales Managers and other stakeholders can use it for decision-making in their daily business.
You will work with data from tools such as Salesforce, SAP and Excel-based data models, combining different sources and ensuring that data is consistent and usable across analyses and reports. A key part of your work will be the creation and maintenance of reports, both directly in Salesforce as well as in Power BI for more in-depth and structured analysis. The position is limited to 20 hours per week and is fixed-term until July 31, 2027. Tasks
- Create and maintain Salesforce reports to provide the sales organization with relevant data insights
- Contribute to analytical projects, such as building dashboards for stakeholder groups like Key Account Managers
- Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, including data preparation in Power Query and creation of DAX measures
- Analyze sales-related topics such as identifying "white spots" (untapped sales potential) and supporting Active Price Management initiatives
- Support colleagues with data-related requests and smaller analytical tasks
- Maintain and further develop an existing Excel-based data model, including structural adjustments and backend improvements
- Extract, process, and validate data from SAP and other internal sources to ensure consistent and reliable reporting
Requirements
- Enrolled student in Business, Economics, Business Informatics, Data Analytics or a similar field
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and confidence in working with data
- Analytical mindset and the ability to understand and structure data
- Ability to work independently on smaller topics as well as support larger projects
- Basic understanding of data models and data structures
- Interest in working with data in a sales context
- Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity
- First experience with Power BI (including Power Query and DAX) is beneficial
- Experience with Salesforce and/or SAP is a plus
