DevOps Engineer

• A 2:1 degree or above in Computer Science (or related), ideally from a top university.\r\n
• Strong ability in scripting with PowerShell or a similar language.\r\n
• Hands-on coding skills in at least one of C#, Java, or Python.\r\n
• Practical knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible.\r\n
• Background in container platforms (e.g., Docker) with orchestration using Kubernetes or Swarm.\r\n
• Familiarity with system monitoring solutions (e.g., ELK, Grafana, or similar).\r\n
• Proven track record in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with TeamCity.\r\n
• Experience working with SQL databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.\r\n
• Comfort managing both Windows and Linux environments.\r\n
• The ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients to resolve challenges and deliver solutions.\r\n

Desirable (but not essential): \r\n \r\n

• Working knowledge of Atlassian products such as JIRA or Bitbucket.\r\n
• Exposure to artifact management tools like Artifactory.\r\n
• Deployment automation experience with Octopus Deploy.\r\n
• Awareness of code quality and analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube).\r\n
• Background with job scheduling platforms such as Control-M.\r\n
• Experience with major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).\r\n
• Familiarity with VMware (vSphere) and storage area networks.\r\n

Previous experience in financial services would be advantageous, though not a requirement. \r\n
