Coba IT are hiring on behalf of a client for a Solution Architect to play a key role in shaping enterprise-scale solutions across complex, highly regulated environments. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across multiple domains-combining infrastructure, data, and software architecture-to deliver secure, scalable, and forward-thinking solutions. The Role As a Solution Architect, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end solutions that align with both business objectives and modern engineering practices. You'll work closely with business analysts, technical teams, and senior stakeholders to shape architecture strategy, influence roadmaps, and ensure solutions meet governance, risk, and performance expectations., Design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions aligned to business needs Define architecture across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments Apply modern engineering practices including automation, containerisation, and serverless Balance risk, cost, and performance in all solution designs Produce architecture artefacts to support governance, security, and compliance Support operational teams with troubleshooting and performance improvements Assess impact of solutions across capacity, risk, and cost
Requirements
Strong experience in solution architecture at enterprise scale Background in infrastructure, integration, cloud, and security best practices Experience working across complex technical environments and multiple domains Ability to influence architecture strategy and guide technical direction Experience delivering within regulated environments
Experience in One or More of the Following is Valuable
Threat intelligence, insider threat, cyber forensics, or resilience Software engineering and/or data architecture Financial services or other highly regulated sectors Emerging technologies including AI, automation, and Agile delivery
