Job description
- Position Summary: Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the clinical credentialing application process for independent practitioners, to include the application request via the CVO and intermittent follow-up to ensure timing completion for final approval. Duties include coordinating privilege requests with Credentials Governance Coordinator., + Other assigned duties as required as assigned by MSO manager.
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent GED

Five 5 years of experience as a Medical Secretary or equivalent .

Certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist CPCS , issued by the National Association of Medical Staff Services.

Strong computer skills and thorough knowledge of standard office software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Power Point.

Coordinate multiple tasks and while maintaining flexibility in order to balance changing priorities while meeting deadlines and achieving goals
