Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Kafka, and ETL development for a long-term contract opportunity in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and building scalable real-time data processing, streaming, and integration solutions in distributed data environments., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and real-time streaming applications.

• Build and optimize large-scale ETL and data integration solutions.
• Develop streaming applications using Apache Flink and Kafka.
• Work with distributed systems and big data technologies to process high-volume datasets efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data architects, analysts, and application developers.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and ensure data reliability and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Apache Spark.
• Experience with Apache Flink and Kafka for real-time streaming and integration.
• Solid experience in ETL development and large-scale data processing.
• Good understanding of distributed systems and big data technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in enterprise-level data engineering environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern data architecture concepts is a plus.
• Banking or financial domain experience is preferred.
