Systems Network Engineer

We are seeking a Systems Network Engineer to support advanced Satellite Ground Systems operations within a cross-functional engineering environment. This role focuses on maintaining secure Windows and Linux network infrastructures, supporting cybersecurity compliance, managing network hardware, and developing automation scripts in classified DoD environments., * Install, maintain, and update Windows and Linux operating systems, patches, repositories, and configurations

• Develop, maintain, and utilize Perl and PowerShell scripts for automation and administration
• Maintain network topology including:

• Windows Server DNS
• Account management services
• Cisco firewalls and switches
• Synology NAS

• Perform remediation activities associated with Government Nessus vulnerability scans
• Maintain and update McAfee security services and security configurations
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for:

• Network infrastructure
• Systems administration
• Operational procedures
• Configuration management

• Support system administration and network engineering activities within secure satellite ground system environments
• Collaborate across engineering teams to support system reliability, security, and operational readiness

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical discipline
• 8+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required at time of hire
• Experience administering Windows and Linux systems
• Experience with patch management, repositories, and OS configuration management
• Experience with Cisco firewalls and switches
• Experience supporting Nessus vulnerability remediation
• Experience with PowerShell and/or Perl scripting
• Experience maintaining secure network environments and technical documentation
• Agile experience preferred
